Curriculum Vitae

Gabrielle Broere was born and raised in Missoula, Montana. Since joining Rhoades & Erickson, PLLC, Gabrielle has predominately focused on civil litigation, representing clients with complex litigation needs. Gabrielle takes the hard-working attitude that was instilled in her as a child and applies that to her practice.

 

Gabrielle attended the University of Montana and earned her Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Philosophy in December 2015. While attending the University of Montana, Gabrielle was selected for a travel abroad opportunity to Greece. It was during that trip that a photo of her standing in the Mediterranean Sea that was posted to Facebook went viral overnight. Shortly after her return, she was interviewed by the Montana Kaimin, a newspaper published by the University of Montana. Within a few days, her story was picked up by various outlets, both nationally and internationally, including ABC, the Today Show, Cosmopolitan Magazine, the Daily Mail, and countless others.

Gabrielle went on to earn a Master of Public Administration and a Certificate in Public Policy in May 2021 from the University of Montana. The next year, in May 2022, Gabrielle earned her J.D. from the Alexander Blewett III School of Law at the University of Montana. While attending law school, Gabrielle was an active member of numerous student groups including: the Women’s Law Caucus (WLC), the Criminal Law Group, Student Advocates for Equity (SAFE), and the Student Bar Association ADA Committee. In her capacity as a Student Bar Association ADA Committee Member, Gabrielle was integral in the implementation of a by-law that required all law school- related events to be held in ADA-accessible venues.

 

Gabrielle is admitted to practice in the Montana state and federal courts, the Montana Bankruptcy Court, the United States Court of Federal Claims, and the Ninth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals.

 

As a proud Missoulian and Montanan, Gabrielle is heavily involved within the Missoula community and the state at large. Currently, Gabrielle is the Secretary for and a member of Summit Independent Living Board of Directors, a center for advocating for the independence and civil rights of people with disabilities. Additionally, Gabrielle is also a member of the Disability Rights Montana Board of Directors and the current Vice Chair of the State
Rehabilitation Council. Gabrielle also volunteers her time with the Montana Hope Project, an organization dedicated to granting the wishes of Montana’s critically ill or disabled children.

 

Gabrielle was selected to be featured in the State Rehabilitation’s 2023 Governor’s Report as a Vocational Rehabilitation Services success story.

 

In her free time, Gabrielle enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, extended family, and friends, enjoying everything Missoula and Montana have to offer.
